This is a delicious, fresh corn side dish which is great with grilled foods or a Sunday roast. Simple and different!

    large onion chopped
  • 1
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    unsalted butter
  • 6
    ears of corn, shucked
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine

How To Make fresh corn and peppers with white wine

    In a skillet cook the onion and all of the choppedpeppers in the butter over low heat, stirring for 3 minutes or until softened.

    While the pepper mixture is cooking, cut the corn kernals off the cobs with a sharp knife. Add the corn to the skillet and cook the misture stirring for about 2 minutes.

    Add the wine and salt and pepper to taste and simmer the misture covered for about 5 minutes.
