Ingredients For dilled bean salad

  • 4 can
    green beans (i use kroger brand veri green)
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar (can also use a sugar substitute)
  • 1 c
    white vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    heaping - dill weed
  • 1 Tbsp
    heaping - dried minced onion

How To Make dilled bean salad

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except the beans. (Mix the dill weed and dried onion with the sugar before adding the vinegar and oil - mixes better)

    Heat to a boil and boil gently for 2-3 minutes. Then let COOL.

    Drain beans and put in a bowl or tupperware, etc. Pour cooled mixture over the beans. Mix gently.

    cover and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Serve cold.
