Ingredients For deutsch kohl krapfen (german cabbage fritters)
- FRITTERS:

1 1/2 cwhite cabbage, finely chopped or grated

2eggs
-
3 Tbspall purpose flour

1 tspdry oregano
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
salt and pepper to taste
- DIPPING SAUCE:
-
1/2 cplain yogurt
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
1 pinchcayenne pepper
-
1 Tbspbaby dill, chopped
-
salt and pepper to taste
- FRYING:
-
1/2 colive oil
How To Make deutsch kohl krapfen (german cabbage fritters)

1In a large bowl, combine all the fritter ingredients.

2Preheat 1/2 cup olive oil to medium heat in a large frying pan. Scoop about 1 Tbsp. fritter mixture to form one fritter. Fry the fritters for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Flatten each side as they cook, with a spatula.

3In a small bowl, combine all the dipping sauce ingredients. Mix well and serve with hot fritters.
