Ingredients For creole -style okra, corn and tomatoes

1 pkg16-oz. pkg frozen sliced okra

1 can14.5 oz. can stewed tomatoes

1 cfrozen onion seasoning mix

1 cfrozen corn kernels
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 tspcreole seasoning

1/4 tsppepper

hot cooked rice (optional)
How To Make creole -style okra, corn and tomatoes

1Cook bacon in a dutch oven until crisp; remove to paper towels to drain and then crumble and set aside (reserve drippings).

2Saute okra, tomatoes, onion, corn, pepper and creole seasoning over medium high heat, stirring occasionally for approx. 5 minutes. Add water and reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

3Top with crumbled bacon and serve over rice, if desired.
