This recipe showed up on Facebook. My patient's mother, Donna Burke, told me that it was delicious and she was right. I made this and my daughter who does not eat cabbage loved it.

Ingredients For creole cabbage

  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 sm
    head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 lb
    smoke sausage, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make creole cabbage

  • 1
    Melt butter in a large skillet. Add cabbage, onion, and cook on medium high for about 5 minutes stirring to keep from sticking to pan. Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer for 20 - 25 minutes.
