We love creamy coleslaw with pineapple. This one comes out great. Goes great with B-B-Q ribs or pulled pork. If you don't want as sweet you can use less sugar and add a little more apple cider vinegar.

Ingredients For creamy coleslaw with pineapple

  • SLAW MIX
  • 6 c
    finely shredded cabbage
  • 2 md
    carrots, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated onion
  • 1 can
    drained pineapple chunks, diced, 18 - 20 oz.
  • to taste
    salt and pepper
  • DRESSING
  • 2/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    celery seed
  • 1/2 c
    milk or half & half
  • 1/2 c
    sugar

How To Make creamy coleslaw with pineapple

  • 1
    Toss all the slaw mix ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Put all the dressing ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk well
  • 3
    Pour dressing over slaw mix and toss well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • 4
    Before serving, toss well again.
