This dressing was my beloved grandmothers. It is the very best I have ever had, I hope you enjoy it, as I pass it along with love. I give measurements, but this has to be shaken and tasted until just right.

Ingredients For creamy apple cranberry slaw

1head cabbage-shredded or bagged cabbage mix

3apples sliced in matchsticks, or shredded (soak in lemon water to keep crisp)

1/2 cdried cranberries
-
1 caneagle or borden brand evaporated milk

3 Tbspsugar
-
2 Tbspwhite vinegar
-
1/2 chellmans mayonaise
-
1small onion grated. (secret ingredient-must be shredded fine)

freshly cracked black pepper to taste
How To Make creamy apple cranberry slaw

1In a msaon jar or clean jelly jar only-must shake dressing. Combine: Mayo, evaporated milk, sugar, vinegar and cracked black pepper. Shake and taste until desired, sweet,creamy tangy balance is achieved. I usually adjust sugar or vinegar.

2Pour over remaining ingredients-cabbage, apples, cranberries and grated onion- in large bowl.

3Let set at least an hour before serving.
