Ingredients For creamed spinach

4 Tbspunsalted butter

1/2red onion, chopped

kosher salt and black pepper

2 clovegarlic, minced
-
2 tspred pepper flakes

1 1/2 cheavy cream
-
1 cshredded parmesan
-
1 tspground nutmeg
-
1/2 csour cream
-
2 (10oz.) pkgfrozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

1/2 cfrench's fried onions
How To Make creamed spinach

1Preheat oven to 375*. Spray 8x8-inch baking dish. In large skillet, melt butter and add red onions and a pinch of salt and saute for 3 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and saute for another 2 minutes.

2Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and the nutmeg. Cook up until right before the cream bubbles, remove from heat and add sour cream and the spinach. Salt and pepper to taste.

3Pour spinach mixture into baking dish, sprinkle with fried onions and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly. 8 points per serving
