3 cfrozen peas, cooked

1/4 cchopped parsley
- WHITE SAUCE:

3 Tbspbutter
-
3 Tbspflour
-
1 cmilk or cream

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 pinchpepper
- SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS:

1 1/2 cmushrooms, fresh button,diced

3 Tbspbutter

1/4 tspsalt

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
How To Make creamed peas with sautéed mushrooms

1White sauce: Melt butter, stir in flour, add milk gradually and cook slowly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.

2Sautéed Mushrooms: Cut off all but 1/2 inch of mushroom stems. Wash mushrooms throughly, dice and sauté, in butter 10 to 15 minutes, Season with salt and pepper;stir in Worcestershire sauce.

3Add mushrooms, parsley if desired and peas to the white sauce. Stir together and serve hot.
