I grew up eating canned cream corn. Never really liked it, other than the sweetness. Decided to try and make it the way I would like it. Turned out yummy! *** wanted to add green chiles but it would not have gone well with the meal we were having. Next time!

Ingredients For creamed corn my way

  • 2 c
    frozen sweet corn
  • 2 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make creamed corn my way

    Melt butter over medium high heat.
  • 2
    Add minced onion, and saute until softened.
  • 3
    Add small cubed cream cheese, stir until melted. Reduce heat to low.

    Add seasonings, stir well to combine.

    Let cook on low until done to your liking.
