Ingredients For creamed corn

4 Tbspbutter

1 smonion finely chopped

2 Tbspflour

1 3/4 cup cmilk

1/4 cheavy cream

4 ccorn

1/8 tspdried thyme

1/2 tspdried parsley

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make creamed corn

1Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the onions; cooking for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with flour; continue cooking for 2 minutes stirring continuously.

2Stir in the milk and cream in increments; alternating between the two. Stir continuously until smooth.

3Stir in corn, dried thyme, dried parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir to melt. Use fresh, canned or frozen corn. If fresh steam, roast, microwave or boil to cook before you start the recipe.
