This an easy and delicious creamed corn recipe. Cream cheese in the savory sauce complements the sweet corn. It's made in a slow cooker, so this is a great holiday side dish when the oven is filled with other recipes. This sweet and savory creamy corn would also be delicious as a potluck or barbecue side dish.

Ingredients For creamed corn

  • 2 pkg
    frozen corn (one 16 oz and one 10 oz)
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, softened and cubed (8 oz)
  • 1/4 c
    butter, cubed
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make creamed corn

  • Ingredients added to a greased slow cooker.

    In a 3-qt. slow cooker coated with cooking spray, combine all ingredients.
  • Cooking on low until cream cheese is melted and corn warm.

    Cover and cook on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until cheese is melted and corn is tender.
  • Stirring the creamed corn.

    Stir just before serving.
