Ingredients For corn casserole

15 ozcan creamed corn
-
15 ozcan whole kernel corn (do not drain)

2 lgeggs, beaten

2 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/3 ccornbread mix (packaged)

1/4 cunsalted butter, metled
-
2 lgjalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
-
1 cgrated sharp cheddar cheese, divided
How To Make corn casserole

1Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish; set aside.

2Stir the corn, eggs, sugar, cornbread mix, melted butter, jalapenos, and1/2 cup of the cheese together in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

3Bake for 40 minutes; sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top and bake for 20 minutes longer.

4Allow to cool for 5 minutes in dish before serving.
