Ingredients For corn and tomatoes

4ears fresh corn --- or --- 1 - 10oz. pkg. frozen whole kernel corn

1/4 cbutter or margarine

1/4 cyellow onion, diced

1/4 cgreen bell pepper, diced

2 tspsugar
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspground cumin
-
pinchwhite pepper
-
1 lgtomato, large diced
How To Make corn and tomatoes

1If using fresh corn: husk and remove silk, cut enough kernels from the ears to measure 2 cups. Add all other ingredients except tomato, stir and cook over medium heat until butter is melted.

2Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes more. Stir in tomatoes. Cover again and cook 5 minutes longer.

3If using frozen corn, purchase corn without butter sauce and follow above directions.
