1/2 cchopped onion

2 Tbspall-purpose flour

2 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper

1 csour cream

3 1/2 ccorn
-
1 Tbspchopped fresh parsley

1/2 chalf and half
-
1 Tbspsnipped fresh chives
How To Make corn and bacon casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of the drippings. Crumble the bacon and set aside.

2Add the onion to the drippings and saute until tender.

3Add the flour, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until bubbly. Continue to stir and cook for 1 minute more.

4Remove pan from the heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.

5Add the corn, parsley, and half of the bacon. Mix well.

6Add the half and half and stir. Return pan to the heat and cook until the corn is cooked and the mixture thickens up. Pour mixture into a 1-quart baking dish.

7Bake for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining bacon and chives.
