found this in an old recipe box I started when I was a teenager. Looked good so I drug it out to share.

Ingredients For chinese cabbage salad

1medium size head chinese or celery cabbage

1 can13 3/4 oz. pineapple tidbits, drained

1 can6 to 8 oz sliced water chestnuts
-
3/4 csliced green onions
-
soy dressing, (below)
- SOY DRESSING

3/4 cmayonaise or miracle whip

1 Tbspsoy sauc
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspsugar
-
1/4 tspground ginger
How To Make chinese cabbage salad

1cut cleaned cabbage leaves into thin slices

2place in large salad bowl
-
3add pineapple, water chestnuts and onions, mix well
-
4just before serving add soy dressing. toss gently until salad is coated.

5soy dressing directions: mix all together using a fork or wisk until well blended. makes 3/4 cup
