This is an updated version of everyones favorite Green Bean Casserole, using an alfredo sauce instead of soup, and adding Pancetta and roasted red bell peppers. Quick and easy to put togeather, and let the crock-pot do the rest. This recipe is by Robin Taylor Swatt in the Cookbook, ToDays Creative Crock-Pot Cookbook, Second Edition

Ingredients For cheesey alfredo green beans in the crock pot

  • 28 oz
    package frozen , cut green beans
  • 6 oz
    pancetta, crisped in the microwave and chopped
  • 1 c
    roasted red bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 10 oz
    container of cheesey alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshley ground black pepper
  • 2 1/2 oz
    can of french fried onions

How To Make cheesey alfredo green beans in the crock pot

    To increase the amount of recipe, you can double all the Ingrediants and use a 5, 6, or 7 Quart Crock-Pot

    Place in the crock-pot -Green Beans, Crisped and chopped Pancetta, Chopped peppers, Alfredo sauce and Black pepper, mixing well to combine, Put on Cover.

    Turn crock-pot to High, AFTER 1 HOUR, STIR - Cook for 3 Or 4 Hours Total on High. _ Just a few minutes before serving Sprinkle the French Fried Onions across the top and Lightley Stir.
