How To Make cauliflower steaks with chimichurri sauce
-
1For the cauliflower steaks. Remove the green leaves from the bottom of the cauliflower leaving the stem intact. Cut from the cauliflower in half then make 1 steak out of each half cutting straight down into the stem about 1 1/2 inch thick. Use the remaining cauliflower for another use.
-
2Heat the oven 400 degrees. On stove top add the oil to a oven safe skillet. Season the cauliflower with salt and pepper. Cook in the hot oil until browned on both side. Transfer to the oven and roast until a fork goes through easily. About 10 minutes.
-
3Meanwhile make the sauce. Add the garlic, shallot and parsley to a food processor. Pulse then scrap the sides and add the olive oil and red vinegar. Pulse a few more time to get to come together. Taste and add salt.
-
4Serve the cauliflower steaks with the sauce.
