Ingredients For carmelized spicy green beans

1 lbfresh haricots verts

2 Tbsplight brown sugar

1 Tbspsoy sauce

1/2 tspcrushed red pepper

1 mdred bell pepper, sliced

1/2 mdsweet onion, sliced

1 tsppeanut oil

3/4 tspseasoned salt
How To Make carmelized spicy green beans

1Cook haricots verts in boiling salted water to cover for 1 minute. Drain. Plunge the green beans into ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain well, pressing between paper towels.

2Stir together brown sugar, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper.

3Saute red bell pepper, onion, and green beans in peanut oil in a large skillet over high heat 3 to 5 minutes or until the beans look blistered. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Remove from heat.

4Add soy sauce mixture to the green bean mixture, and stir to coat. Enjoy!
