    olive oil
  • 1 pinch
    crushed red pepper flake
  • 1 lg
    yellow onion
  • salt and pepper

    Preheat a skillet to medium-low heat.

    Add red pepper flake and onions to pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat onion evenly with oil and salt. Saute for 20 minutes stirring occasionally until soft and golden.
