Ingredients For caramelized brussels sprouts

  • 24
    brussel sprouts quartered
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make caramelized brussels sprouts

  • 1
    Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the sprouts and cook for 5 minutes. Drain. Wrap them in paper towels and squeeze out as much water as possible.

    Add oil to a large skillet. Add 1/2 the sprouts and stiy fry for 3 minutes. Transfer sprouts to paper towels to drain. Repeat the process with the remaining sprouts.

    Discard the oil from the pan and add the garlic and saute 10 seconds. Add the fish sauce and sugar. Toss in the sprouts and cook stiring for 2 minutes.
