Ingredients For cabbage soup

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 -15 oz. can
    stewed tomatoes
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 32 oz. can
    vegetable juice cocktail (v 8 juice)
  • 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pounds of cabbage, sliced

How To Make cabbage soup

    Brown ground beef, onion & garlic in skillet, until crumbly; drain.
  • 2
    In large dutch oven place the ground beef mixture; add the remaining ingredients & simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add more seasoning if desired.
