Ingredients For cabbage casserole

  • 1 can
    small cabbage chopped
  • 1
    sweet onion
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/2 stick
    butter melted
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • TOPPING
  • 1 stalk
    ritz crackers
  • one c
    cheese
  • 1 stick
    butter melted

How To Make cabbage casserole

  • 1
    Place coarsely chopped cabbage in a casserole dish. No need to grease pan.
  • 2
    Layer coarsely chopped onion on top of cabbage. Salt and pepper the onion and cabbage.

    Mix the soup, mayonnaise, and butter together and place on top of the onion/cabbage. Spread lightly. Don't mix.

    Mix the topping ingredients in a separate bowl and sprinkle over the top.
  • 5
    Cook at 350 for about 45 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbly. Keep an eye on it.
