Ingredients For buttered skillet corn

kernels sliced from 8 ears of corn

1 Tbspflour
-
1 tspsugar
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper

2 Tbspvegetable oil

3/4 cwater

1 Tbspbutter
How To Make buttered skillet corn

1combine flour, sugar, salt and pepper in a small bowl.

2heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. add corn and cook until starting to get brown, about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3add flour mixture to skillet and stir until corn is coated. add water, reduce heat and simmer until water is almost gone and corn is creamy, about 10-14 minutes.

4stir in butter and serve at once.
