Ingredients For brussels sprouts in lemon sauce

1 lbfresh brussels sprouts

1/4 cbutter

2/3 cmayonnaise

2 Tbsplemon juice

1/2 tspcelery salt

2 Tbspgrated parmesan cheese

1/4 csliced almonds, toasted
How To Make brussels sprouts in lemon sauce

1Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and remove loose outer leaves. If they are large, cut them in half. Cook the Brussels sprouts in boiling water for 5-6 minutes, or until tender. Remove from the pan and place in a serving dish. Set aside and keep them warm.

2Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice and celery salt. Cook, stirring constantly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly heated. DO NOT BOIL!

3Pour the sauce over the Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with cheese and almonds. Enjoy!
