Ingredients For brown sugar brussels sprouts, poppa

  • 1 lb
    brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 4 clove
    garlic, crush and chop (or minced from the fridge)
  • 1/2
    lemon, juiced (omit)
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegarette dressing
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How To Make brown sugar brussels sprouts, poppa

  • 1
    Steam sprouts over boiling water until tender, 10-15 min. Heat oil and garlic over med high heat until fragrant, but be careful to to burn. Add sprouts, lemon juice, pepper flakes and salt, stirring until they begin to brown, about 5 min. Add balsamic and sugar and stir for a minute to combine. remove from heat and serve immediately.
