Ingredients For broccoli with creamy parmesan sauce

  • 1 bunch
    fresh broccoli
  • 1 md
    shallot diced
  • 3 clove
    garlic minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese cut into chunks
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How To Make broccoli with creamy parmesan sauce

    Cook the broccoli in boiling salted water. Drain and keep warm.

    Place butter in large skillet. Add shallot and cook 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in flour. Slowly whisk in milk.

    Add the cream cheese cubes and cook until the cheese is melted and sauce is creamy. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
