I have been making this every Thanksgiving and Christmas since I found this recipe in a church cookbook in 1981. This is one of my families favorite side dishes at the Holiday dinner table.

Ingredients For broccoli rice casserole

1 pkgfrozen chopped broccoli

1 crice
-
1/3 cbutter
-
1medium onion, chopped
-
1/2 cchopped celery
-
1 jarcheese whiz (small jar)

1 cancream of mushroom soup
How To Make broccoli rice casserole

1Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain well. Cook the cup of rice. Melt the butter and saute onion and celery. Mix broccoli, rice, onion and celery; add cheese whiz and undiluted soup. Put in small casserole dish; bake in a 350 degree oven, uncovered for 30 minutes.
