This recipe was given to me by co-worker while I was in lab tech training 35 years ago. Great sidedish that tastes great.

Ingredients For broccoli and spinach casserole

  • 2- 10 oz
    boxes chopped frozen broccoli
  • 2-10 oz
    boxes chopped frozen spinach
  • 1
    envelope french onion soup dry mix
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 8 oz
    medium cheddar cheese , grated

How To Make broccoli and spinach casserole

    Thaw out spinach and broccoli. Squeeze out excess liquid.
  • 2
    Add sour cream and French onion soup mix. Stir to mix.

    Place in casserole dish.
  • 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place grated cheese on top of casserole. Return to oven until cheese melts.
