Ingredients For braised red cabbage and apple

1 mdred cabbage, finely shred

1 lgsweet apple, cut in small pieces

1 lgred onion, halved and thinly sliced

4 clovecloves garlic, crushed

4 Tbspbutter, melted

1 Tbsplight brown sugar

3 Tbspbalsamic vinegar

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make braised red cabbage and apple

1Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

2Mix well all ingredients in a large ovenproof dish with lid.

3Bake 1 – 1 ½ hour, stir every 30 minutes. When done, the cabbage is soft and not slushy.

4Serve hot or store in the fridge and serve cold or reheated.
