While browsing through some of my Grammie's cookbooks I came across a section of sauces. This one was under the title of simple butter sauces and it said to glorify vegetables, fish or eggs, and pasta. So, since I had some asparagus that I needed to cook and my husband & I both like breakfast for dinner I decided to make this sauce. It is so easy and did give a zip to the asparagus and eggs. Thought I would share this super easy recipe. I added a little minced garlic too. It was delish!

Ingredients For black butter sauce over steamed asparagus

1 bunchfresh steamed asparagus
- BLACK BUTTER SAUCE

1/3 cbutter

1 Tbspvinegar or lemon juice

dash of salt and pepper

can add chopped garlic or capers
How To Make black butter sauce over steamed asparagus

1Steam your broccoli or this would be great on fish too. Let 1/3 cup butter bubble in small saucepan until it's a golden brown. Pour in 1 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice and let foam up. Add a dash of salt and pepper and serve at once.
