My mother loves this as well as I do. We ate this in a resturant and I kept searching ingredients until I came up with a similar recipe. It's good comfort food & I will be making this for our "Thanksgiving Dinner".

Ingredients For bj's squash casserole

  • 1 lb
    yellow squash
  • 1 sm
    white onion
  • 1 (6 oz) box
    chicken stove top stuffing
  • 1 (10oz) can
    creamed soup (your choice of flavor) chicken, celery, etc.
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c
    four cheese ( mexican blend)

How To Make bj's squash casserole

    Cook squash until tender, saute onion in sm. amt. of butter, then mix all ingredients together. Top with the four cheese (mexican blend). Bake @ 350 degree oven for 30 min. or until bubbly & brown.

    ** Just made a good recipe better....saute onion in (1/2) stick of butter & try using (1/2) box of chicken stove top stuffing. I also used the 2lb bag of Pic Sweet frozen squash or you can use fresh. I like more squash in my recipe.
