1 call purpose flour

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 Tbspoil

2egg yolks

3/4 cbeer

2 lgwhite onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick

oil for deep frying
How To Make beer-batter onion rings

1Mix the flour, salt, pepper, oil and yolks together.

2Gradually whisk in the beer.

3Refrigerate the batter 3 1/2 hours to rest before using.

4Slice onions, and dip them in the batter.

5Deep-fry in 375 degree oil until golden brown.

6This batter also works well on other vegetables besides onion rings--and it\'s great on fish, too.
