Another farm fresh recipe from my Grandmother Delleplain. Back in the 30's and 40's food was much healther and almost everything was home grown .

Ingredients For babed summer squash with tomatoes

  • 2 lb
    summer squash
  • 3
    large tomatoes sliced
  • 2
    medium onion sliced
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make babed summer squash with tomatoes

    Wash squash and cut into halfs, remove the seeds and place the squash in a greased baking dish.
  • 2
    Cover with tomatoes, and onion slices sprinkle with salt and pepper, and dot with butter.

    Cover with foil and bake in over at 350 for 45 minutes.
