This slaw is so easy to make and my family loves it when I serve it as a side dish for burgers, barbecue, or seafood. If I don't have walnuts available, pecans work just as well.

Ingredients For avocado tomato & broccoli slaw

  • 12 oz
    pkg. broccoli slaw mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced purple onion
  • 10 sm
    grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 sm
    (or 1 large) avocados, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped toasted walnuts
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp
    kosher salt, or to taste

How To Make avocado tomato & broccoli slaw

    In a large bowl gently toss together slaw mix, onion, tomatoes, avocados, and walnuts.

    In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and salt. Spoon over slaw and stir in gently just until combined.

    Cover and chill for 20-30 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
