This slaw is so easy to make and my family loves it when I serve it as a side dish for burgers, barbecue, or seafood. If I don't have walnuts available, pecans work just as well.

Ingredients For avocado tomato & broccoli slaw

12 ozpkg. broccoli slaw mix

2 Tbspminced purple onion

10 smgrape tomatoes, halved

2 sm(or 1 large) avocados, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch chunks

2 Tbspchopped toasted walnuts

1/4 cmayonnaise
-
2 tspapple cider vinegar
-
1 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/4 tspcelery seed
-
1/4 tspkosher salt, or to taste
How To Make avocado tomato & broccoli slaw

1In a large bowl gently toss together slaw mix, onion, tomatoes, avocados, and walnuts.

2In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and salt. Spoon over slaw and stir in gently just until combined.

3Cover and chill for 20-30 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
