Saw this recipe and switched it up to suit our tastes. This is delicious and a great update on the regular green bean casserole. Hope you all enjoy it!

Ingredients For alfredo green bean cassorole

1 Tbspbutter

1 pkgalfredo sauce
-
1 1/2 cmilk, whole

1/4 cparmesan cheese, grated

4 ozpancetta, diced

2garlic cloves, minced
-
2 cmushrooms, fresh, sliced thin

1 conion, diced
-
2 cangreen beans, drained
-
1 cfrench fried onions
-
1/4 cparmesan cheese, grated
How To Make alfredo green bean cassorole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2In a small pan, combine butter, alfredo mix, milk, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Bring to simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

3Saute pancetta over medium heat until almost brown, drain off excess fat. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Saute 3 minutes or until softened.

4In large mixing bowl combine green beans, alfredo sauce, ingredients in saute pan and 1/2 cup of french fried onions. Mix well.

5Place mixture in casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.

6Remove dish from oven. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of french fried onions and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese on top of casserole. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Eat and enjoy!
