My family loves this squash. For diabetics you can use Splenda brown sugar.

Ingredients For acorn squash

2 Tbspbutter, melted

4 Tbspbrown sugar, divided

2 tspcinnamon, divided
How To Make acorn squash

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cut squash in half and clean out the seeds.

3Cut each half in half so that squash is quartered.

4Place the squash pieces skin side down on a large baking pan.

5Brush each piece generously with the butter.

6Sprinkle each evenly with the brown sugar. One Tbsp on each piece.

7Sprinkle each with the cinnamon. 1 tsp on each.

8Cover with foil.

9Bake for 20 minutes or until tender.

10Serve immediately.
