three meat bbq baked beans
These are ALWAYS a hit. The slow cooker makes them easy to have ready for a BBQ at home or away. I mix them up the day before and just plug it in day of! I usually make a double or triple batch. They freeze very well so I've got a batch ready for the next BBQ! You can also bake them in a 350 oven, uncovered, for any hour instead of using the slow cooker. Enjoy!

Ingredients For three meat bbq baked beans

1 lbsliced bacon
-
1/2 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbbulk sausage

1 canbaked beans with pork, 15 oz
-
1 canwhite beans, 15.5 oz, drained (any white bean will work)

1 canbutter beans, 15.5 oz, drained (replace with red kidney beans if necessary)

1 cdark brown sugar, packed
-
1 cbbq sauce
-
2 Tbspyellow mustard
-
1 pkgonion soup mix
-
1 dashhot sauce or more to taste (optional)
How To Make three meat bbq baked beans

1Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Drain and set aside.

2In the same skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef and sausage until cooked through. Drain and set aside.

3Combine the bacon, beef, sausage and all beans in the crock. Stir in the brown sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard, hot sauce (if using) and onion soup until well blended.

4Cook on low for four hours. You can put the crock in the fridge at this point and cook within 48 hours. You can also cook the beans uncovered in a 350 oven for 1 hour.
