These green beans are so tasty! I like them so much better than green bean casserole that I serve them at holiday dinners. They are really different!

2 canfrench-style green beans

4 Tbspbutter

4 Tbspflour

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 tspgrated onion

2 tspsugar

2 csour cream

8 ozgrated swiss cheese
How To Make swiss green beans

1Heat the beans in a pan; set aside. In another pan, melt the butter and stir in flour, salt, pepper, onion and sugar. Gradually stir in sour cream.

2Cook, stirring, over medium-low heat until thick. Drain beans and add to mixture.

3Turn into a shallow baking dish. Top with grated cheese. Put under broiler for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
