sweetheart supper
I had to come up with a special Valentine's Day meal. I just hate going out to a restaurant on Valentine's Day and having to order from a "Special Menu" for that night. Usually overpriced and not as good as eating in the same places on a normal night. So I did Lobster Tails, Steamed Blue Lake Green Beans, Herb Rice, with butter and a salad. This will work well for any special occasion or just because.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Prepare this Valentine's Day meal for your sweetheart and they will love you forever. Each component is simple and tasty. Put everything together and it's equivalent to a meal from a fancy restaurant. The herb rice is packed with flavor. Toasting the rice in butter adds so much to it. The fresh green beans are simple, but melting butter over them, along with salt and pepper, elevates them from ordinary green beans. Using a bamboo skewer in the lobster tail, the outcome is a perfect, beautiful lobster tail.
