2 lbfresh asparagus

2 tspsesame seeds

2 Tbsppeanut oil

2 tspgrated fresh ginger

1/2 tspsalt

How To Make stir-fried sesame asparagus

1Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Lightly cook asparagus in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain, and immediately plunge asparagus into a bowl of ice water, until asparagus is cool, drain, and pat dry.

2Toast sesame seeds, in a dry skillet, over medium heat, until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes; transfer to a dish, and set aside to cool.

3Heat peanut oil, in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ginger and asparagus to the skillet. Season with salt, and cook, until ginger is fragrant, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; toss with sesame oil and sesame seeds to serve. Makes 6 servings.
