Ingredients For sauteed mushrooms with lemon and parsley

  • 6 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs. fresh button mushrooms, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. freshly grated lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • kosher salt and pepper to taste

How To Make sauteed mushrooms with lemon and parsley

    In large skillet, heat olive oil. Add mushrooms and arrange in single layer. Cook for 2 minutes til slightly caramelized. Stir to mix. Stir in butter, lemon juice, zest, and wine. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer and cook til mushrooms are tender. Add parsley, salt and pepper and serve. Serves 4 Tastes of Italia
