My new favorite way to eat cooked broccoli. I wanted to make a simple, delicious, & quick recipe using broccoli. Husband tried it & loved it.

Ingredients For roasted broccoli

1 bunchbroccoli florets

2-3 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1/2 cparmesan cheese
-
salt and pepper to taste

lemon juice, fresh
How To Make roasted broccoli

1Preheat oven to 450.

2Line baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil. Boil water in medium saucepan. Add 1.2 tsp kosher salt to the water. While water is boiling, prepare broccoli by cutting into florets. Also prepare a mixing bowl with ice water.

3Drop broccoli into boiling water for no longer than 1 minute. Immediately strain broccoli & place into ice water to shock & stop the cooking.

4Drain the broccoli onto paper towels or a kitchen towel. Place drained broccoli onto prepared baking sheet & season with salt & pepper & drizzle olive oil over broccoli.

5Place in oven & roast for 10 minutes. When done, remove from oven & place in serving dish & sprinkle lemon juice & parmesan. Serve
