Saw this on TV, it sounded so good for a quick summer veggie salad. Tried it and loved it!

Ingredients For marinated vegetable salad

1 csugar

1 cred wine vinegar
-
1/2 colive oil
-
16oz bagfrozen green beans, thawed

16oz bagfrozen peas, thawed

2sweet onions, sliced thin

1red pepper, sliced
-
pinchsalt
-
2oz jarred pimento (optional)
How To Make marinated vegetable salad

1Cook together the sugar and red wine until sugar is dissolved. Cool.

2add olive oil and mix well.

3Mix vegetables in a large bowl, pour cooled marinade over the vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
