My grandmother made this corn for me as it was my favorite. She never measured anything so I don't know measurements. She passed away in 1972. She never wrote recipes down and I sure wish she had done that. I miss her so much.

6 - 8ears of corn on the cob

bacon grease

How To Make mamaws fried corn

1Cut the corn off the cob and the use the back of the knife to run back over the cob.

2In a cast iron skillet start melting the butter and add the corn and a little salt.

3Add just about 2 teaspoons of bacon grease. Stir well and bring to a boil. Turn heat to med low and let simmer till tender about 10 to 15 min.
