This is a favorite at all of our family gatherings- even Thanksgiving! It's creamy and delicious. You can increase or decrease the jalapeño to your desired heat level.

Ingredients For jalapeño corn side dish

2 canmexi-corn, drained ( corn and peppers mixed)

8 ozcream cheese, room temp

2 Tbspmargarine or butter

1/4 cmilk
-
1 candiced mild green chilies, 4 oz can, undrained

1/2 tspgarlic powder or one clove chopped

1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1-2 Tbspdiced jalapeño, fresh or from the can

1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make jalapeño corn side dish

1Grease an 8X8 pan or casserole dish. Preheat overn to 350 degrees. Drain corn. In saucepan or microwave safe bowl, melt butter. Mix room temperature cream cheese with butter until well blended.

2Add all other ingredients and stir well.

3Bake at 350 for 25- 30 minutes until bubbly.

4NOTE: If using fresh jalapeño, use plastic cooking gloves to protect your hands when cleaning out the seeds and chopping it. The oil from the jalapeño can be very irritating to skin.
