This is my variation of a casserole my mother-in-law makes.

Ingredients For italian green bean and rice casserole

2 (15 oz.) cancut green beans, drained

2 ccooked rice

1 mdmild onion, diced
-
2 cgrated italian blend cheese

2 cancream of mushroom soup

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make italian green bean and rice casserole

1Saute onion in butter until clear.

2Add soup, rice and half the cheese. Stir to mix.

3Place beans in a casserole dish. Add onion mixture. Mix well.

4Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

5NOTE: You can make this a day or two ahead of time. It freezes well.
