green beans and bacon in the pressure cooker
Green beans are ready to be picked out in the garden. This is already the 2nd time they have been picked..What I love about making this is that you can make a large pot or small and do not have to adjust the time..I usually cook these in a pot on the stove for a few hours but the Electric pressure cooker cuts the time down so much that it is faster to cook these than to pick and snap them. Temperature outside, this summer is reaching 100 degrees, so this is a great option to not heat up the kitchen to much.

2Shut lid and set timer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, chopped bacon and brown in a small frypan.

3Brown bacon till crispy and set aside until the 5 min are up on the green beans.
