This is an easy make ahead salad that just gets better the longer it refrigerates. Everything that goes great with green beans is in here...onion, bacon, tomato, and red potato. Every bite is covered in creamy ranch sauce - yum! This will be great with your favorite grilled, roasted, or bbq dishes.

Ingredients For green bean salad with ranch sauce

  • 1 lb
    green beans, blanched in salted water, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 c
    diced onion, red would be pretty, I used white
  • 1 md
    tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1 md
    red potato, diced 1/4 to 1/2 inch cubed, boiled until tender
  • 3 slice
    turkey bacon, cooked and diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    shredded Parmesean cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ground pepper
  • RANCH SAUCE:
  • 3 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix

How To Make green bean salad with ranch sauce

    In a large mixing bowl combine green beans, onion, tomato and potato.

    In a separate dish mix ingredients for ranch sauce until well combined. Mixture will be thick. Pour over veggies.

    Mix until well combined. Add Parmesan cheese, and pepper. Stir well. Top with crumbled bacon. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
