I concocted this after having a grape tomato salad at the Fleet Reserve Club in Annapolis, MD. I sometimes use blue cheese or Gorgonzola.

This is a quick and easy recipe that you can take on a picnic and not worry about refrigeration. But I don't think it will last that long!

Ingredients For grape tomato salad

  • 2 pkg
    grape tomatoes
  • 1
    red onion, chopped
  • 1 c
    Feta cheese, or more
  • 1 bottle
    balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2-3 pkg
    Splenda (or sugar)
  • salt and pepper

How To Make grape tomato salad

  • 1
    Whisk balsamic vinaigrette and Splenda together.
  • 2
    Cut tomatoes in half.
  • 3
    Add tomatoes, onion and feta to vinaigrette, salt and pepper if desired.

    Chill to blend flavors.
